Fort Worth is a great city and spending the summer right here in town is just as awesome even when the temperature reaches a hundred degrees. A great way to cool off here is spending some time drenching wet in water! The Safari Splash is a 14000 square foot water park that has 4 slides, a water dump area, and a designated toddler section for the little ones. The whole family can stay cool and get to see plenty of animals. The Safari Splash is in the Fort Worth Zoo. Fort Worth Zoo is one of the top 10 zoos across the nation. And has great shaded areas to stay cool even if you don’t stop at the Safari Splash.
Another great way to have fun and stay in a cool area is going to the Café Modern where there is live music on the first Friday of the month. The Star Telegram, the Modern, and Café Modern host an evening of live music and cocktails. You can tour the galleries at the Museum while enjoying food and drinks.
Fort Worth has more fun activities to offer that include live music and food. A weekend visit to the Fort Worth Stockyards can be exciting for the whole family. There is a cattle drive twice a day, and live music at the Stockyards. The visit is even more enjoyable if you stop by the food truck park located in the Stockyards.
If you love learning while playing, the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History has Science on Tap: Human Biology and Cool Technology this Friday, July 20th. You get to taste a liquid nitrogen Margarita! And be in a virtual operating room, or experience a live cow heart dissection. Sounds like Fort Worth is big on fun, science, and refreshments.
Our office, Museum Smiles Dentistry, is located within 2 miles of the Fort Worth Museums, and 3 miles of the Fort Worth Zoo. We are big on the art of beautiful smiles, the science of a healthy mouth and wellness, and refreshments. Yes, we do offer snacks and coffee to our beloved patients. Schedule a dental appointment with us and visit some fun places afterwards.
